I usually don't visit McD or other fastfood restaurants, and the only collection I got from McD was a few Snoopy from the World Tour collection in 1998. The previous Coke glasses offered by McD never caught my interest, but these glasses definitely got me hooked.
The aluminum-can design of the glasses is much more unique than the usual tall-glass designs from McD. I figured that since I never collected any Coke glass before, maybe I should give it a try. And for every week for the past one and a half month, I have to buy a McD meal set for lunch to get a glass.
As I don't usually eat fastfood, the weekly meal was a bit hard for me, with the burgers or fried chickens, large soft drinks and sundaes. I think I gained an inch or so on my waist for the past six weeks. Don't know about the weight though. Might be a good thing too, since for years many people said that I'm too thin. Anyway, I'm glad it's over, although I'm not sure which one I'm more happy for: completing the collection or not having to eat McD again?
So what am I going to do with the glasses? I think I'll display it somewhere in my bedroom, if I could find a space for it. After some time, I'll probably pack it up and store it somewhere. 50 years from now, I might sell it off at flea markets or on eBay. I wonder how much will it worth by then? Haha...
