Who knew that the weather played such
an important role in affecting history?
Author Laura Lee highlighted in Blame it on the Rain how the present day could have been so different if not for the weather: Hitler might have won the war, Harry Truman would have loss his presidential election, Nagasaki would have been spared from the nuclear attack, there would be no Stradivarius violins to enchant the classical music world, there would no "Scream" (a famous painting by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, not the horror movie starring Neve Campbell) and there would be no electric razor.
This is really an eye-opening book!
History has become a bit more interesting because of it. A great
read!!
