No, I'm not taking a two-month break from reading or writing my blog. I'm talking about a rather well-known home cooking restaurant near my home. You may have heard or even dine there before. It's called 鼎丰家乡菜.
It's a nice little conner house in Sungai Way that was converted into a small restaurant with a few tables and an open kitchen. Its home cooking always command a full-house at dinner time. My parents and I would dine there once a while when mom wasn't cooking.
We went there last Friday and noticed a banner saying that the restaurant will be closed from 9 February to 5 April 2013, to "upgrade our food". I guess everyone will have to look for other places to eat before it reopens in April.
For those who wants to visit this homely restaurant before the break, you can find it here. Just remember to come really early as tables are really limited (less than 12 tables) and a lot of people come here for dinner. Sometimes when I pass by during dinner time, I could see people standing around waiting for a vacant table.
