Review: The Prisoner of Tehran

Welcome to 2011!!

It's 2011 and it's time to start many things anew!! The first new thing I wanted for my blog is a new look! Since arts and design were never one of my talents (not that I have many), I decided on something simple like choosing one of the ready-made templates and make some minor changes later.

I entered the Blogger Template Designer and ..... nothing. It just hung there and nothing happened. It doesn't seemed like Blogger was having some system failure since I can still post this article. It was showing nothing.

This is not a good sign. Does this mean I'm going to have a bad year?!! Nooooooo.....

Haha, just kidding! It's no big deal, I'll just make the change some other time. :P

What the plan for the new year then? Maintaining a good physical and mental health, of course! Without these two, no plan can be completed properly. Don't you agree?

What else? Read faster and buy slower, haha... I've been buying so fast and reading so slow that I still got around 40 books left unread!!! And I bought three new books just yesterday!! (o.O") I really need to get a hold of myself...

So one of my new year plan is to finish these books within the year. Which means I need to finish at least one book per week throughout the year, not including any new books I'll buy. This is going to be a major project...

Other new year plans? Hmm...
  • Save more money. More like a lifetime plan, haha...
  • Make my Kelisa look and feel new. I had my car for over 5 years & it deserves a good treatment. The shock absorbers definitely need to be changed. A new coat of paint sounds good too.
  • Perform better at work. I noticed my performance has dropped somewhat lately. Definitely need to pick it up.
  • Get a girlfriend. Haha... I'll let fate decide on this.
  • Continue to expand my book collection. I've been reading quite a lot of non-fiction (self-help, memoirs, true stories, etc) and a bit of fiction. I've been thinking of adding literature into the mix. Currently reading The Gift of Rain by Tan Twan Eng.
That's what I had in mind so far. More plans will no doubt be added throughout the year. We'll see how things go.

Wishing everyone a Happy 2011!!
