My company will be having a trip to Medan, Indonesia in April.
It's been a long time since I had an overseas trip, so there are a few things I'll need to prepare. The most important one will be my passport. Fortunately there is a branch office in Kelana Jaya, which isn't far from my house, and I can do it during the weekend. I'll need photocopies of my IC and passport photos ready soon.
While I'm not familiar with Medan, Parapat and Berastagi where we'll be visiting, I do look forward visiting Lake Toba. The view should be quite spectacular, seeing this huge body of water inland. However, it can be quite unnerving when one realizes that it is after all a super-volcano and a 7.3 earthquake just took place in January. Hopefully nothing "spectacular" will happen.
